ABOUT US

The company was set up in by David Danzig and Mandy Medlicott in 1984 and since then they have worked world wide. Their humour is as British as Monty Python, which explains why they have worked so extensively in most European countries; either at local festivals or promoting British culture on behalf of the British Tourist Authority.

In the last few years the Lemmings work has diversified and they now work for Creative Partnerships as agents to create and run creative projects in schools belonging to the Haven Gateway. As part of this work they also run the Harwich Schools Carnival an event that brings together 7 schools and over 700 children for a carnival parade through the town streets.

The Lemmings have entertained at cultural exchanges in Denmark and Norway and for the twin towns of Esjberg and Lincoln and Byrne and Alnwick. They have featured at many "British Day's" in Hamburg and Krefeld and at the Rhein Army Summer Shows in Paderborn.

They have also produced many extra-ordinary shows either as creators and directors or working in collaboration with other companies. Such projects include the 'Hydromaniacs' a four person human fountain, the result of a collaboration with Avanti Display; 'Boxes' a touring show produced with Boulder’s Brass for Glasgow City of Culture festivities; The Tell-tale Heart' a production with several performers at the Royal Festival Hall.
