International Street Arts

Since the Lemmings were formed in 1984 they have produced too many street theatre performances to recollect, ranging from human cannonballs to manic preachers. At a time when stilt walkers wore top hats and stripped trousers they began creating stilt characters and illusions leading the way in itinerant performances in the UK.

The Lemmings have performed at cultural exchanges in Denmark and Norway and for the twin towns of Esjberg and Lincoln and Byrne and Alnwick. They have featured at many "British Day's" in Hamburg and Krefeld and at the Rheine Army Summer Shows in Paderborn. They have worked for the British Council in Italy, China, Turkey and India, as well as the British Tourist Authority throughout Europe and worked professionally in 37 countries throughout the world.
